Only 30 days left until the 2023 edition of the 24MX Getzenrodeo starts. After long days of deliberation, the schedule for the final leg of the 2023 FIM Hardenduro World Championship is now set. The 2023 edition promises two days of racing action, as there are two race days for the first time. While Friday, which, by the way, offers free admission to all fans, is dedicated to the training track and the prologue, Saturday is the main race day that nobody should miss.
On Friday, after the technical inspection, it’s off to the training track, which is located right next to the paddock this year. From 2:00 PM onwards, there will also be a competition for the fastest lap. The top 16 riders will move on to the evening program. The Red Bull Double Trouble, where the best riders compete for the best time in the prologue, will take place at 6:00 PM. The top three riders with a WM license will already earn points for the World Championship. In the evening, the opening party takes place in the festival tent.
After the state of the prologue, the riders will start the race day on Saturday. The Getzen Race for all participants begins at 10:00 AM.
The top 20 riders from the Getzen Race will advance to the finals. The so-called GetzenChamp starts at 2:00 PM. In the evening, the grand Getzen Night Party concludes the event, where everyone can have fun again, hopefully under the best weather conditions.
The center of this year’s 24MX GetzenRodeo is located in the Burgparkplatz in Scharfenstein. The paddock can be found below the castle this year, and next to it is the spectacular prologue. The festival tent will also be set up with a view of the castle directly on the Zschopau River.
Those who don’t want to miss the action should get their tickets right away. You can order them here: https://shop.ticketpay.de/GHLKOKZV. Admission is free on the prologue day, but tickets are required for Saturday.“
